Cataract Gorge
One of Tasmania's top tourist attractions can be reached either by car or a short walk from the “Gorge Bridge”. There are many small walking tracks in the Gorge grounds, with the longest being about 90 minutes round trip to Duck Reach Power Station. Built in 1895 Duck Reach was the first hydro electric Power Station in the Southern hemisphere and is now an interpretation centre.
